This year’s edition promises a rich technical and networking program, with dozens of scientific presentations, panel discussions on sustainability and innovation, and showcases of advanced refractory solutions.

Among the keynote speakers is Tom Vert, who will present his talk “Refractory Consumption Trends in a Constantly Changing Market.”

The event will focus on topics such as sustainable manufacturing, secondary raw materials, digitalization of lining management, and decarbonization across heavy industry.

Special attention is expected on participation from North American companies across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Organized under the UNITECR Foundation, the conference is held biennially, rotating between continents, and stands as the most influential global forum for the refractory industry. This marks the first time in a decade that the event returns to Latin America.
