On October 29, 2025, Saint-Gobain Ceramics, part of the Saint-Gobain Group, announced a strategic partnership with the French engineering company Eurodia Industrie.
The collaboration focuses on developing integrated solutions for Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) from brines — combining advanced materials with innovative liquid-purification systems.
According to the press release published on Business Wire,
• Saint-Gobain Ceramics will provide lithium-selective adsorbent materials based on its advanced ceramics expertise;
• Eurodia Industrie will deliver engineering systems for liquid purification and concentration.
Both companies emphasize that their cooperation will accelerate the commercialization of efficient and sustainable lithium-extraction technologies, supporting the global energy transition and battery-materials supply chain.
