The American company JT Thorpe Group Inc., one of the oldest industrial contractors specializing in refractory and thermal protection services, has announced the acquisition of ThorCan Construction & Refractories Ltd. (Ontario, Canada). This marks JT Thorpe’s official entry into the Canadian market, where ThorCan has served the cement, metallurgical, and processing industries since 2003.

According to JT Thorpe’s management, combining the two companies’ teams and resources will help establish a “unified North American front” in the refractory services segment and improve efficiency in cross-border projects.
